I am thinking about getting either the X2 Clearo or T3 or maybe both but my question is, if it is laid flat will it leak out of the end. I have seen where there is intermediate problems with leaking but I am more curious if when not in use it has to stand up, I thought I saw this answer once but I can not find it now.

I have had no leaking issues with the t3. I lay mine down all the time Every once in a while I will get some liquid on the battery post but its rare, and seems to be random.
Thank you, but unfortunately you just cost me more money since I have no excuse not to buy one LOL
Neither of them leak on either end when not in use, even if you turn them upside-down. It's just that pesky drop on the battery post from time to time, during use. I got that with both of them. The T3s have the advantages of larger capacity and replaceable heads.
This may be a stupid question but... The pesky drop on the battery, would it be enough to do any harm to an auto? I really like the auto's over manuals.
It shouldn't but the autos are leak resistant, not sealed 100%. I get the occasional drop from the X2 clearo, but have never had a t3 leak a drop in 4 months of using them. The X2 will work great with the auto, but the t3 works best with a manual IMHO.
Thanks to everyone for the info I guess now I just need to make up my mind and get my order in for the sale 
I don't know I keep them upright by just tucking them in my bra when not in use so no worries all around lol
