I'm wondering if anybody know what type of wicks is used in the X2 Clearos because it has much better taste and no dry hits compared to the T3. Reason I'm asking is when I use the x2 clearos the flavor is much better and consistent than on the t3s, and i saw some thread on ecf about rewicking the t3 with cheesecloth and they say that with cheesecloth you get more consistent taste than silica(which i assume the t3 is using).

Also another question, the thread said you cant dry burn with cotton, so how can I do a dry burn after rewicking? can i just take the wick out and dry burn with just the coil and no wick? or will that kill the coil?

Thanks

I would assume that the X2 clearo's use sillica. That is pretty much standard for clearo's.

What I do with my cotton ball t3 heads is remove the wick when i dry burn them. There is always the chance of breaking the coil when you dry burn so you just need to be careful. Let off the power when they start glowing and they should be fine. With cotton I find that when you need to dry burn a coil it's usually about time for a new wick anyways.
