Question about throat hit?

To all you vapers who have used non-material wicking sources like screws and pourous rock and all that stuff, a big question in my mind is - if you were to vape 0mg liquid, and turn the voltage way up or use a sub-ohm coil, is the temperature alone enough to really give you a throat hit?

Just a question about how temperature and and wicking material and juices without nicotine relate!

Are you asking whether some wicks are entirely responsible for throat hit?

Then no, some juices have throat hit in of themselves. Some wick / coil setups can enhance throat hit, but that's a different matter.

the nicotine is what gives the throat hit. PG does to some extent. Some types of juices like menthols and cinnamon give a throat hit. Other than that if you're hitting a hard sub-ohm dripper then the heat off of it could give you some kind of throat feel but it's probably not very healthy to burn the crap out of your lungs
