If you think your bridge on the atty is deeper then on the thin juice mod maybe cut it one inch and when you fold it in half it will be 1/2 inch for the atty bridge to go around. If you try the Y shape cut the Y 1/2 inch. Hope it helps. Been working for me for over 2 months. One thing tho, change the blue foam piece's about once a week. They do not work good after like 5 or 6 refills.

My bridge sticks out real far into the cart on my 510 and i think it keeps messing up the airflow because of it.

Thought this was the problem on some of my SLB atties too. To me though, it seems like they would work like a standard joye brand for a while, then start to draw hard. I have found if you take a small drill bit up through the threaded end,(not sure what size, as I used a beveled dremel bit), between 1/4" and 5/16" up through the hole and turn it a few times, it reams out some of the excess bridge material, that is actually blocking some of the hole off. You should feel the bit catching slightly on some of the bridge material. It does not take any force at all. Also if you go in too far you will hit the atty coil, and that wouldn't be good8-o

( I'm not to good at how to's, so only try this if your good at things like this, mechanically inclined that is!) I did this to all of my SLB atties, and havent had any hard draws on them yet:)

I personally prefer the SLB 510 attys over the Joye 510 ones. Out of the 4 SLB attys I've used I've never had the nasty/burnt taste like I have with the Joye ones. They perform almost identical to me. I do notice that I can't get the orange glow on the SLB's but the it is clearly visible on the Joye attomizer. I'm also using a double folded PTB cart mod and it's been working quite well. It holds the juice near the top of the cart and wicks very well.

Any idea when you will get more 510 attys in?

This is really good news for all of us that are fed up with Joye's burnt tasting attys!

Any idea when these will be available - I'll spread the word? :)

Both are delayed still from the holiday. SLB's will ship on the 9th and Bauway ones will ship 'anyday' now.. :)

I agree... he better have ordered a truckload! Have you read this post by Sun Vaporer regarding his tests on the bad Joye attys? I haven't had any problem since going with the SLB attys.

A couple of tips that I have tried on the 510's that have worked.

I use my atty about 2 weeks then the draw gets hard (as a previous poster said) so I take all the old atty's (like 5 or 6 at a time-saved for this purpose) and soak them for a few days in crest pro health (blue stuff). Then I soak them for a few more days in water to get rid of the crest. I twirl them in a cup a few times a day for both steps. Then I set them out, cart side down for about a week and don't touch them. After about a week or so (maybe longer if you live in a humid area) I reprime it with fluid that doesn't have a good taste any more or I use straight vg. (it's gonna go to waste so don't use your good stuff) I burn it directly on the bridge a few times to get the remaining mouthwash off (just in case) then the atty is just about as good as new. (not exactly, but I would say pretty close)

The other tips I have tried are the blue foam mod and the plug. The blue foam is not good. Simply put, no amount of rinsing and rinsing gets rid of that scent. If you can somehow come up with a way of rinsing away that stuff... then it does hold the liquid perfectly.

The plug took a little bit of work and patience, but it worked fabulously. I used one of those silicon cupcake thingies (cut one up) and was able to get the perfect plug. You can actually put the silicon on a piece of wood, take an old broken atty and put it cart side down and pound it into the silicon. You get the perfect fit that way.

I also order the disposable e-cigs. I actually like the batteries and so far the atty's have been good for a month or two each (before being cleaned)

Hope this helps :)

Well even using a regular cart my 510 gives 1 good hit before it tastes dry. I have to set it down and let it soak from the cart after 1 hit.

That's the problem I had with the disposables since day one. Great first hit, then dry, harsh.
I hate to post this because it doesn't make sense, and yes everyone, I know that the fibers are there to wick the juice to the coil, but...
Watch Phee's video on pulling the threads. Maybe some of the 510's are overstuffed with the fibers, I don't know, but my 510 carts wick now. I didn't remove the bridge, just fished out all the fibers I could see. I can't see under the bridge so I assume there are still some there. Of all the atomizers I have taken apart, I have never seen that much fiber in any of them. I am much happier with my 510's now. They also dont seem to leak anymore.

Confused a bit...

I haven't had a great working 510 atty from Joye in a very long time. I've thrown away more of them than I have used.

Are these Bauway/SLB atties a viable alternative? I'm strictly a 3.7 volt vaper. (Regular batts and a Protege)

Thanks!

I ordered a disposable kit and am using an atty from that. It's working great. It gets dry a bit faster than my old ones so I need to make sure I get good liquid flow (without flooding) into it. So much more vapor than my Joye ones.

If you're having problems finding a way to get away from those defective nasty chemical taste atty's the disposable ones do the trick.

I've got a Bauway on the way and am hoping for good things.
