flinflon, no aggression intended here at all, but you're OP is full of over-generalized hyperbolic statements indicting an entire country for the products of probably a relative handful of manufacturers. Did your "source" go to every single e-cigarette manufacturer there? Highly doubtful.

So don't get upset if some people get a little defensive in light of your unsubstantiated claims.

Have a nice day. :)

I switched to vaping because of 2 things. (1) Smoking was killing me and I could feel it happening. I could barely breath, had no energy, my blood pressure was sky high. (2) The huge expense of smoking cigarettes.

I didn't switch to quit smoking analogs entirely, I just wanted to cut down the cost, quitting cigs was just a very pleasant side effect.

But after just a few months, I can breathe again, my blood pressure is lower, I can walk 1 mile without feeling like I'm dragging just to make it back home! I don't stink, and my flavored e liquids taste and smell wonderful.

In my opinion, the benefits outweigh any possible bad side effects. The plastic parts of my pv don't get hot. Just the metal part. I'm not saying it's perfectly safe. It probably isn't. But it's is one heck of a lot better than smoking for me.

vaping is a personal choice and so is the equipment the vaper uses. I hope you find something that works for you and you keep on vaping!

Well I totally agree with you. Im only at about 3 weeks and notice the difference, but also feel that the ecig isnt natural, of course!

I just want to know that the ecig itself is made safe, and encourage more companies to make them in countries with regulations (us, eu, canada, japan, etc) so they can be even more safe

After quiting the 'combustibles' i already feel the difference.

I even went through a bit of nicotine withdrawal the first week which I think is a good sign :)

it's not going to be as bad as formaldehyde, tar, and all the other nasty thing we smoked into our lungs with tobacco products.

I'm still reading about them and careful which products I buy and use.

Like Viola, I had the H1N1/pneumococcal flu this last Thanksgiving and fighting bronchitis/pneumonia, and a cough that went on for months, hooked on ciggarettes and having to use an albuterol inhaler and when we added steroid inhales last month, that was "it" for me, I envisioned myself walking around with an O2 source and wheezing, in the near future (COPD/emphysema or worse).

So week four is in two days and this has been great, my fiance' and I no longer wheeze when we're sleeping, and feeling better every day, without the horrible side effects of "quitting" as I've had in the past when I'd tried, made it five years once, and only weeks or months in previous attempts.

This I CAN do, I've tapered down to an 18 mg now (from 24mg, we were HEAVY smokers, rolled our own from pipe tobacco with an electric machine so you tend to smoke more since they're only $8/carton, and better tobacco) BUT it was taking it's physical toll, not a monetary one.

this is wonderful.

AGAIN, not talking about the liquids

AND - I have, or my friend has proof as to the construction of most E-cigarettes and how dangerous they are. (lead, mercury, PVCs) we don't know the effects on the lungs ...

I want the e-cig to be safe and the manufacturing regulated

I have heard similar arguments many times. It's actually a self-regulating market at the moment. Bad liquids and devices fall by the wayside. I rather like that! :)

thanks!

well I do have some information as to which brands, the ones made in china. but my source is kind of secret! :)

My source isn't secret, I don't hide behind generalized smoke and mirror ANTZ nonsense.
The proof is in the pudding...show your proof cite your sources so they can be fact checked.
