winter of 1977-78 blizzard. My dad was off work for 2 days - which NEVER happened. We built a snow fort and Snoopy on top of his dog house and a HUGE snowman/baseball player. The snoopy dog house was taller than I was. Of course I was only 10 so many thing were taller than I was! lol

Second favorite: Jan 1994 - the entire state was under a snow emergency. PG with our first. Hubs and the neighbor/co-worker decided they'd try to get to work - more for the adventure than need. The neighbor's wife called me over to watch (lol) and made us all breakfast - except coffee (I brought the coffee!) - and to play in the snow with their 2 little ones who'd never seen snow! The guys made it 2 miles before turning around and coming home.

If it snows where you are: will you go sled riding?

We go every year. There are two excellent sledding hills by us including one that has a rope to pull you back to the top of the hill. Never used helmets before but after reading about 30000 injuries last year, helmets will be required for my kids.
