YES! I'm grateful for the medical technology, the ability for people to keep touch, the modern conveniences of air conditioning, hot water, flush toilets etc. My grandmother was born in July of 1910. (She passed 9 yrs ago)
In her life time she saw women get the right to vote (a given in my time), cars, electric "ice boxes" (I have the one she used growing up) air conditioning, antibiotics of every type, insulin for diabetics, the end of legal segregation...The dance hall where my grandfather took her on their first date was "whites only". She went to college in a time where the only degree programs open to her were music or education...I have had the opportunity to study ANYTHING.

Will $4/gallon gas change your driving habits?

I had to think about this one, libra. It's a tough choice between cribbage and Rook. I guess cribbage wins. Although, when I go to Las Vegas, I spend hours in the blackjack pits once I tear myself away from the Craps tables.

Now since it's you whose asking, I thought you might enjoy knowing that my daughter's favorite game is divination cards. She chases me all over the house with a fanned out, face down deck beggin me to choose one. She's gets kind of disappointed when I always pull out a really great card, LOL, but I've never pulled out a bad one yet.

Okay, same question again.
