Question (Dry hits)

So I have a joyetech E-Grip OLED.

I've been experiencing a lot of dry hits if I vape too fast at over 10 watts.

So...I found some information online that if you open and close the "Side" Fill door it doesn't dry hit anymore.


Sure enough...when I simply just open and closed the "Side" fill door...the dry hits stop for a bit.

What's the reasoning behind this? Anything I should do to permanently get these results?

Opening the side door allows the tank to vent through the fill hole. You were sucking juice fast enough to create a vacuum in the tank so it didn't flow toward the coils.

Okay that makes sense.

Do all mods have this problem with building a vacuum? Wondering if there is anyway to prevent it
