The plastic, (silicon), insulators at the bottom of the center posts on a couple of my ERA's are creeping up and starting to block the juice feed holes. Does anyone know how to remove the center posts so I can use a flat punch to tap them down into place?

I tried unscrewing the lower part of the threaded connector but it only comes out so far then stops... didn't want to try and force them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
