This is how I feel as well. I am way too proud of being 4 years smoke free, I would DIE if someone thought I was smoking a real cigarette again.
As for the OP, I was a die-hard G6 user and loved them, until I got the Triton. I thought I would still use the G6 at work, but even though I carry them with me everyday I haven't taken one out of the case and vaped it in weeks. It just feels like such a weak system after being used to the Triton.

That is what I am worried about. I own a Triton and I felt even that was weak compared to what I now vape. So I am very worried that I will buy the G6 for use in public but it just won't satisfy.

I ditched my cig-a-likes when I got my Tritons. I never looked back. The 900 mAh are big, but they're just so awesome. I even have cartos and a mini tank, but I only ever used them on my Triton batteries.

I rarely use my 1'300 VV in public (from another vendor). It's just... big.

Is the desire to use a cig-a-like more popular with women? I wonder.

I liked that Triton at first but once I realized how limited the options were with the fact that you can't use 510 threaded tanks or most other Kanger ego threaded tanks (and various other brands) I moved on to the vision spinner which supported all the tanks I was interested in and from there moved to mods. But I still don't feel comfortable using my mods or spinners in public.

if you are used to tanks, then carto's will feel pretty weak.

you may want to try mini-tanks, they work on both G6 and Triton batteries. loads more flavor than carto's and can be re-used if you clean them. plus they are pretty inexpensive.

It's all a matter of perspective.

I started with the Triton and moved up to mods, a Provari and a Vamo.

When I wanna be "discreet" in public, my Triton 650 is what I grab. And by "discreet" I mean I don't wanna hear "Is that an APV in your pocket or are you happy to see me?" :)

I'm sitting at work now, with my Provari + Kayfun Lite and Vamo + AeroTank.

I'm sitting at work vaping my MVP2 with my Aerotank and Nautilus while looking at halo's cig-a-likes....damn I am weird

I owned about 5 mini tanks from halo and didn't like them. The draw was too tight and if you let them sit without use they don't fire correctly until after like 10 hard drags. They were cool at first as an introduction since they were better than the cartos as far as flavor goes but over time I just realized there were many downfalls.

It is less about wanting a cigarette and more about wanting a device that looks like a cigarette. Not for me, but for everyone else around that is seeing me vape...

Duly noted Cave123. Well, I guess it all boils down to how much you think you'll be out in public, versus how much you aren't. On the rare occasion when I use my G6, I find that a really juiced up carto can be quite satisfying...but not for long. As somebody else said, a higher nic would be in order. If you like a warmer vape, Halo has the larger LR's (low resistance) cartos. They hold more juice, but only come in black. I took my G6 w/ LR carto to a Christmas party, and from afar people told me it looked like I was smoking some kind of foreign cigarette...lol

I know how frustrating this can all be Cave, I hope all these comments will help you make your decision.

LOL! Join the club Cave! Oh, and just for the record, the pics don't do the G6 justice. I see you have a Nautilus. Those are great aren't they? I love that they hold 5mls. Another drawback to a cig a like. After getting use to big tanks, a carto is just so pitiful...imho.

I actually mentioned somewhere in this thread that I have owned a G6 in the past but that was over a year ago and I can't even slightly remember how much I enjoyed it and even if I did I wouldn't know how I would feel about it now that I am used to the tanks.

So far I am not a big fan of the Nautilus and I really don't understand the hype. The vapor production and flavor I feel are not as good as my Aerotank so I much prefer my Aerotank so far. I feel that the Nautilus give a really solid throat hit but I just can't get over their version of the adjustable airflow. I like my vape somewhere in between the 2nd and 3rd hole and with the Aerotank I can get just the right amount of airflow but with the Nautilus I am a slave to their preset airflow holes :)

Well, I'm glad you're enjoying the Aerotank. There's a new and improved unit coming soon and I'm glad I waited. Will definitely try the new one. Sounds like they actually listened to the consumer and took great strides to perfect the small production design flaws and tweaked it a bit to have a good tank system. Worth a try anyway. Wether you purchase the G6 or not, well, that's entirely up to you, but it sounds like you've got some good gear there that you enjoy. Good luck and vape on. :)

I think you should still definitely give the original Aerotank a try. Even with the larger tank coming I think it would still be great to have the original if you want something more compact, unless you really just don't care about that kind of thing for whatever reason.

I think I might get the eroll at this point, I am not sure yet.

Same here.

I think the Triton battery overpowers the mini-tanks sometimes, so lately I've been carrying Two G6's and a PCC with a Ten ml bottle of juice. Lighter and no-muss, no-fuss.

If I'm out all day, then I'll grab an extra G6 and slip it in the PCC. But a 650 mAh Triton battery and a mini-tank with a large cone attached is actually shorter than a G6/mini-tank combo.

You do have to shave a little off the cones to use them with a mini-tank though. The cone protects the connection between the tank and the batt. Makes for a very sturdy, pocket friendly device.

I go back and forth on this. I do use the LR cartos sometimes on the Triton.

I do not carry a full-size tank to work that's for sure. Don't need it, don't want it there.

i started with a G6 and still use it when i'm in public. i have stopped using carto's since i've moved onto mini-tanks on both the Triton and the G6 to get more flavor.

I like that the options are limited; I would have spent the money on at least a dozen tank systems, just to try them, but I opted to master this Triton (Kanger T2) instead, and I'm glad I made that choice. The maintenance can be fussy, and it won't outperform a Provari, but IMO, it's the best bang for the buck, hands down, and it's severely under-rated.

Other than the fact that it is a device with limited options for different tanks, it is a great tank system. I remember that the tanks never leaked but did have problems with the wicks getting oversaturated, but this is very easily avoided by making sure to use your tanks at least one every couple of days.

Vape on guys! :vapor:
