To those of you who have totally quit analogs and have become passionate vapers for some time:
Do you enjoy vaping more than you did smoking?
(I'd have asked this on the regular board where the more experienced vapers reside, but I can't come out and play there until I've logged a few more threads.:)

DC2 is right.

Not at first as the first 4 flavors I tried were terrible to my tongue.

Then there was not enough nic to kill my cravings.

Once I got past those 2, it was on to cart & battery mods and now I'm a vaper and do not want to go back to analogs. I remember loving the taste of them, but no more.

I've hooked my eldest son, my sister, and 2 friends since then with flavors and the fact that they could stay inside while getting a nic fix. It's been a pretty snowy winter, so that was a big selling point.

I've only been vaping for a month, but right after I stopped smoking analogs I tried one, and YUCK - threw it out after two drags! Now I can smell people that smoke, and they stink! EWWWWwww! and I used to smell like that! I've had to wash my jacket, and I just got rid of my car, traded up, and am proud to say that my car will never smell like an old stinky ashtray!

Yes.
I much prefer vaping to smoking - I like the action of it, the taste of the liquids (I liked the carts I got with my kit off cignot lol, especially the cappucino - the marlb one I grew to like a lot too), the warmth on the tongue. I like rolling the warm flavored smoke around my mouth, blowing out warm nicely scented vapor and the satisfying feeling I get from using it. Its like a really good drinkk of something you like, (not especially alcohol, Im a non drinker so for me, maybe like an ice cold ginger ale in summer), or a lovely food you can savor. I like the gentle nic hit I get (I'm not much for a strong TH) and I like not feeling chained to cigarettes.
I like not smelling like an ashtray and waking up and not feeling like something died in my mouth overnight.

Things I don't like so much: the drying it causes. I don't have it really bad any longer but I still have it, mostly mouth and eyes when I'm asleep. Its fine during the day.
Being surrounded by tissues for my inevitable juice spills, and PV blowouts, but its better than being surrounded by cig butts.

Oh my - I wrote a lot more than I intended lol
*vaping on Butter rum atm and its soooo nice*

If we are honest with ourselves, we have to ask, did we really find anything to enjoy about smoking ?

I admit to enjoying the excuse a cigarette gave me to sit down with a cup of coffee and relax, but other than that, there was no nice taste to it.

It delivered nicotine, which in turn made us feel better. Ecigs do the same thing, but, they have the bonus of giving flavours that we would never have experienced, had we not switched.

But it still has down sides, and that is the fact that they are still not 100% reliable, but hopefully the future will put that right.

I enjoy vaping a whole lot more than smoking. No smelly anything, I can taste better, smell better and breathe easier.

I did have a few cravings for an analog after a couple of days in and tried one. I couldn't even take a third puff off of it before I put it out. I had a couple of weak moments where I thought I really needed one and convinced myself that my PV was all I had and that was what I was going to smoke and my mind accepted that.

I havn't had an analog since that 3 puff analog over 6 months ago and am still loving the vaping. But there were some issues I had to get past...

I started with a smoking everywhere e-cig (RN4081). This was okay for the first 3 or 4 weeks but I wanted more. It just wasn't enough for me. I ordered a DSE901 and man, that made the difference. I felt I could continue to use PVs from now on. But the atomizers seemed to slow down on vapor production after about a month, so I order another set of atomizers. This helped.

I then began looking at mods. I used to be an electronics engineer so I said, "I can build one of these". I have built many mods and have hit upon some really good designs that smoke as good or better than a real analog and that has kept me so satisfied that I will not ever need an analog again.

My mods put out as much smoke as I need when ever I need it. You can get small puffs or take long drags for when I'm in the "I really need a smoke" stage. So my mods is what keeps me going. I still could get by with my basic 901 and be happy with it but my mods allow for all of my moods where sometimes you just puff lightly a lot and then sometimes you really need a big drag over and over like when frustrated or nervous about something.

Most people though could get by with a 901. There my be models as good but since the 901, I really didn't even try any other models since the atomizer on the 901 is so great.
