Question for Praxis owners and what my next mech should be...

I hate getting e liquid on my hands/fingers and I'm washing my hands each time it happens. Will the praxis drive me nuts? Every time you have to change the battery -which means often- you have to touch your rda which means any condensation on the RDA comes right over to my fingers right?

SO...I'm thinking...instead of going for the upcoming praxis copper I'm open to suggestions. Some things I am looking for...

-Anything with a very low voltage drop under load...so probably Copper or gold?
-No locking ring or a locking ring that takes less turns than my Black Copper Stingray as these are really starting to annoy me.
-Prefer magnet switches
-18650 only....(BTW predictions on what 2014 would be like...how'd the year of the 26650 go? oh right it didn't...LOL)
-Clone or Authentic max 200 USD

I've had my brass Praxis for about a month now, and while I like it a lot for its convenience, I have to say it has had its issues. Out of the box when all the brass was shiny it hit about as well as my Stingray X clone (which is effectively a copper mod), but I've noticed if I want to keep it that way, I have to be really on top of cleaning the brass contact points - way more frequently than I've had to clean my Stingray. Also, because the button isn't screwed in and instead relies on a pressure-fit contact for conductivity with the walls of the tube, I've found that sometimes I'll hit the button in some slightly askew way, and it won't get a great connection between button and tube, and the hit will be light. I've learned how to work around this, but it has been more of an annoyance than I would have liked.

That said, I do like the mod, and don't regret the purchase. I haven't had much problem with juice leaking when I change out the batteries, but that may be a function of the design of the RTAs/RDAs I have used on it. I tend to pocket carry, so if I find an atty is leaking/making condensation on me, it immediately gets relegated to the "only use at home" category. If you use RDAs regularly that have a propensity to leak, I can see why it would be an issue.

As to recommendations, I'm still on the same hunt myself, unfortunately. I've got one of the new Mutation X mods coming in the mail (recessed magnetic button, simple looking design, copper version available, no locking ring, authentic under $50), but literally noone on the internet knows much about it at this point because it just hit the market, so I can't remotely recommend it yet until I get my hands on it and try it out. Once I get it in the mail, I'll probably put up a post with some pics in a separate thread.
