Str8vaping should be able to chime in, I know he's had a few provaris apart. Also cba191, he took a mini apart to paint it. Basically, you need to have a thin but strong rod you can move past the electronics in the tube. Rest it against the bottom of the top cap and use a hammer to tap out the top cap, going around the edge of the cap as you're tapping it out. I believe there are a couple wires connected to the top cap, so keep that in mind. Also, the board with the electronics is glued into place in the tube, so when you start tapping out the cap, those spots of glue will probably break and come out. Make sure to glue the board back into place when you're re-assembling.

I should say that I've never personally disassembled my provari, but almost did after getting some assistance from the folks around here. I just ended up letting Provape deal with it, they did a great job and I got my baby back in short order.

P.S. There's also a youtube video that shows how to take a provari apart, although it is in Spanish I believe.

Remember it may void the warranty so be aware of that . Its not hard but if you dont feel comfortable dont attempt it .

Heres a step by step

1 Loosen but dont remove the 2 window screws(these just hold the window in
2 Take a long but skinny rod that reaches the top cap inside of the tube . Becarefull to not hit the 2 wires or the circuit board. There is room around it.
3 Tap the top cap out by hitting the rod on one side then move the rod to the opposite side and repeat. You dont have to hit it very hard.
4Dont tap it out too hard because there are two blue wires connected for the circuit to the top cap . You should see them just looking in the tube . You dont want the top cap to fly off thats why i recomend soft taps.
5Once its off you will see two dabs of glue holding the circuit into its track. Just pop the two glue dabs off (not hard. They pop right off)
6 Slide circuit board out of the tube . Push the fire button down as the whole thing slides out inside the tube.
7 Remove the two window screws and window and you are left with a bare tube.
When reassembling make sure the circuit slides bck into place and put 2 new glue dabs back between the circuit and slide track . Get the top cap back on in the right place.Put a piece of wood over it and hammer it back on.Make sure it goes on evenly.

Two more questions about how long are the cords will be plenty of room for play when putting it back together? And what kind of glue? Also the reason I'm thinking about doing this is to paint my tube is there a way to painted it with something with out taking it apart and not screw up the electronics? Thanks a lot for the step str8v8ping your a huge help! And to everyone else who has post you are awesome!

Use hot glue if you can . If not a epoxy. DO NOT put the glue down first . Doing so will make it unrepairable if anything goes wrong in the future . Put the board in and just put two small dabs in the track just leaning up against the circuit board to keep it from moving. You want to be able to pop the glue back off easy in case it needs to be removed again.
