Hello ECF,

A simple question for you today... I am giving my pro-vari mini to a friend of mine for a trade and I want to polish it up and make it look shiny and pretty for her. I have the blue mini and was wondering if anyone has any simple, cheap ways to do this. What kind of wax to use, what kind of cloth that won't damage the unit? I don't really have access to any major power tools and don't want to strip the color but just buff it up and make it look nice. Any and all tips are appreciated! Thank you.

Alcohol and paper towels. If you use anything abrasive, you'll remove the color.

The colored Provari's use a special ceramic finish called carokote. I would contact Provape customer support for recommendations before using anything other than alcohol to apply to the finish.

That's good advice ty. Saw some guys on classifieds with awesome shiny colored Pro-Vari's. So I know it can be done

I want to say that the shiny colored ProVari you saw on the classies had custom paint jobs. As in, removed all coatings to bare stainless, and repaint. I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.

There was a member who had custom painted his Provari a candy apple red - very glossy - who was offering to sell it to me. This was after the satin cranberry red came out from Provape and I had posted on the forums that I didn't care for that color of red.
