Hey Qorax I see you have the GP Heron and I read your post about the Erlkonigin. If you had to have one, which would it be? I currently have a Kayfun V4 clone and want something smaller. I use cotton wick and about 7-8 wraps around 2mm with 28g kanthal. If you could post a pic of the 2 side by side for comparison that would be awesome. Thanks in advance for any help.
Hi ESJ,
I've pretty much used all the attys [nearly] in the globe including the Heron (before it's launch). Below is my build thread of the Heron and my review of the Erlkonigin:

GP Heron is a nice atty, an "auto-drip" one at that, akin to it's older and sleeker sibling - the GP Spheroid. Both rock solid toppers giving out some superb flavor - tho a bit tighter on the draw. Size wise Heron is nearly the same dimension as a KFL - 22mm OD, 50mm length. And the draw is opener than a KFL+ but less than a K4.
It's nice to have the Heron in your collection. But unfortunately since Erlkonigin happened I've relegated my main attention to this smooth Austrian wonder (the Erlkonigin) and most of my other attys are sitting idle or been disposed off (have sold off my Heron too, which is why I can't post a sbs pic of both). Imho, if it has to be 'one' I'd always pick the Erlkonigin. Why? Here's few pointers which
drives me towards it:
1. Amazing VTF, especially top range flavor
2. Highest juice capacity (6ml standard / 3.5ml Nano)
3. See thru tank
4. As open a draw as a quality RDA
5. Sleeker (21mm OD, the way I like it nowadays)
6. Easy top fill
7. Easy to wick (there's a learning curve - but once you get it, it becomes second nature)
8. Vape till the last drop
9. Easy maintenance and replacement of parts, if a need so arises (I've yet to replace any tho)
10. Sexy driptips by Old Sam
I usually carry 16mm mods while out-n-about, but when I do carry a larger device - the Erlkobigin/s are the only ones I take along. I find them more reliable, dependable and offering a better vape experience. But that's me - ymmv.
All the best buddy!
Ps.: Thanks
Tibs for directing me to this thread.
