question for ya'll......

Well, not too long ago in here.... i learned that a 901 atty would fit right on my V4L stuff.....

So, i just got in 2 901 atts... and some blank carts, to try somthin different.....

So heres my question (as i know nothing about this)...
the carts have the filler in them to put the juice into...
but the attys came with carts already on them as well, except the carts that came on the attys do not have a filler in them....theyre just hollow and empty????

is that for a reason?

and i would logically assume i just fill the polyfill on the other carts and pop that bad boy on the atty and batt and vape away, right?

as for dripping, i assume that i just drip some sweet V4L juice onto the atty with no cart on and vape away, right?

help guys,
im lost without my carto's ... for real though!

The carts that come on them are for shipping.You fill the others with juice and put a drop or two in the atty itself.I usually blow the attys out before I use them.

Some people prefer to use those empty mouthpieces instead of filled cartridges, and just drip a couple drops directly on the atty bridge. But be careful, it takes some getting used to and you can kill an atty by either dripping too much and flooding it, or leaving it too dry and burning it up. Also, it's best to use manual batteries with that method, since you can kill an auto battery if the atty leaks.

i have a couple of preliminary problems though,

one...
the plastic of one of my mouthpieces melted already....like 4 drags in!!! I filled the cart, and put 2 drops on the atty.... and vaped away... and it being a new device... i inspected after 4 or so hits.... and the plastic that inserts into the atty melted in a "dip" in one spot!!!!

... so i scratched that idea.

then i tried the "dripping" alone,
I just dripped 3 drops onto the bridge of the atty, and put the cap (that originally came on the blank carts with the plastic seal inside) onto the atty to prevent me from burning my lips.... with the seal taken out of course.

seemingly, this worked great.....

but!

I was using a new flavor to me (V4L caramel) so it all seemed fine.....
then i thought,
let me blow this flavor out and try a new one,
so i did,
and the second flavor (english toffee, which i have tried and love) tasted exactly like the first... which was a metally sort of flavor!!!!!!!

(i didnt realize that this was not the actuall flavor of the caramel, as it was the first time i had tried it!)

so now,
I have a melted 901 cart,
and an atty that makes all that is dripped onto it taste exactly the same... of mild flavored metal smoke!!!!

needless to say,
im vapin my cartos right now and love it.....

but there must be something that i have screwed up in my process, bc so many people accomplish what i have tried unsuccessfully!

It maybe the factory primer on the atty that you are tasting. This will go away after some use.

Yes, the metal taste is the primer. Give the atty a couple of really good blows into a napkin to help force out the primer. It will still take a day or two to get past it if you haven't blown all the primer out. After blowing though drip a small amount onto the mesh in the atty and this should help.
If the cart is melting it is too close to the atomizer. Back it out just a touch, smidge, a nano of a bit. Or you could take an exacto and cut off just a smidge from the end of the cart that slips into the atomizer. Good Luck!
