And I'm the other way around. I have a bunch of 1.8 heads laying around that I will never use.
A top coil like a Vivi Nova runs hotter than a bottom coil like a Boge carto. So if you liked say 7 watts with a carto, you will probably only want about 6 watts with a nova.
Now understand that everone is a little different with what they want. You can make a Nova hit like a Mac truck if that is what you want. You can also make flavors come alive by turning the voltage down if that is what you want. There really isn't a right or wrong, what I like about the Nova is it's versitility. Just be willing to try different things to get it to vape the way you want, even if it means thinking outside the box.
Hint:
Turn your Vtube all the way down (3v), and start from there. Up the voltage 0.1v at a time until you find the vape you like. Don't be surprised if it's at a lot lower voltage than you think it should be.
excellent advice there..... i tend to run my vivi nova's at a lower voltage then anything else with the same ohm... i find the flavor just pops more that way with these. what i have found that i like is 1.8@3.5v's, 2.4 @ 4.2v's and2.8@4.7v's. if i got +.2-.3v's higher it taste burntish to me as i know others that run the 2.4 at almost 5v's... so the best setting is where you like it.
and depending on the vtube you have it should auto correct and lower to a safe voltage if you turn it up too high, but usually too me it will be burnt tasting about .5v's of the max it can push.
