Question Iclear 30s

Hi i recentally purchased a itaste VTR with a Iclear 30s which has a double coil
I usually vape around 8 watts on my protank 2 but it feels kinda weak
should i need to bump up the watts because the iclear is a double coil
Just wondering if this was the general rule of thumb or is the iclear supposed to be kinda
less on the throat hit if I normally vape a single coil at 8 watts what would anyone suggest i start my wattage on
running a double coil

Hi mrdfield, On the occasions that I used a 30 or 30s I usually used those on higher wattage. For me - I was common to operate a 1.8 Ohm evod/protank around 6.5 and I would usually bump up to 8-8.5 on an iclear30. The best thing to do since wattage/power preferences are pretty personal and are also based on your liquid - go up one increment at a time (if it tastes burned back off a notch or 2 until it doesnt) and see if higher power settings fix your issue.

It may just be that you and 30s wont be friends. They function well, but I did not particularly care for the way my ADV specifically tasted in them (and I dont like metal drip tips) YMMV

I'm using a 30s myself and find the vapour's a touch weak if it's used on a lower wattage. Try bumping it up to about 8.5/9w and see if that fixes it

ive pushed double coils for a time now and love them in my cheaper tanks, for what i could tell on a VW/VV battery i ran it around 3.6 to 3.8v / and put my watts around 9-11 and seemed to worked fine. Im a heavy hitter so the worst problem was flooding so ive moved over to mechs and top set coils. you should not have to mess with volts really that system im 95 percent sure takes care of it, just play with the volts and injoy the flavor changes.

the reason I am using the iclear is I use Bobas Bounty in it and found out this is
the only clearo that works pretty well with it I usually use a ocd tank from ibtanked
but using Bobas in one of those the coil only lasted 2 days Im up to a week with the Iclear
But i do understand about the flavor it does seem a bit muted with the iclear
I dont want to get into dripping or rebulding coils at this point so I will try your suggestion and bump up the watts thanks

I had to up my vv device to 5v to get decent vapor--I guess due to the dual coil. That amounts to about 10.5 watts. I'll tell you, it hits hard at that level and I'm in love!
