I asked the question 5 hours ago in the APP forum but no one answered me so maybe you all can help me. Tomorrow I have a hanna mod dna 20 clone coming in the mail, now I know some different clones have different things when it comes to batteries and this particular clone comes with the connector to use a 18650 battery, it is housed with two 500 and comes with the housing for the 18650. I have not seen the inner workings and was not able to find a video or explanation of exactly how to switch over the battery. I'm assuming it just plugs in to the same port that the 500 were housed in am I correct? Is it a simple switch out or more complex? Any help thoughts or guesses are welcome at this point. The adapter looks like it plugs in some where. IL post a pic of the adapter next post.

looks pretty easy...unplug 1 and plug in the other. The battery tray may have a bunch of hot glue holding it in. I've never seen one like that but it's a common connector. It'll make sense when you see it in person.

:thumb: Asbestos.

You probably know this realsis, but just in case ... Use good IMR or hybrid 18650s only in it.

Good luck with the mod!

slip one out and slip the other in. then put the battery holder in place.

can't say how the battery holder is fastened. but in a box mod, it shouldn't take much to keep it in place. i would just make sure there's tape, hot glue or something covering the ends of that battery holder to avoid potential shorts.
