Hey guys I just got my Joye 510 and was wondering how long you can hold down the button on the battery? The owners manual said don't hold it down for more than 5 seconds, but I can't get a good drag in 5 seconds.:D Is it going to burn out my atty or shorten the life of my atty if I hold the button down longer and take longer drags? I can't afford to be buying attys left and right. :p

Well, you can push it a second or two longer, I have on occassion. But, who's to say that the atty wont blow out at any given moment.

5 seconds should be plenty of time to get a "good drag". I hold the button down a shorter time than that with my eGo and get a fabulous drag. You may want to check into a different liquid/nic content for the "good drag".

Are you dripping liquid on the atty bridge? That should help to increase the vapor. Just one drop each time you refill your cartridge. Make sure you have enough liquid in the cart also... they blow through juice much faster than you think.

Hey Slow... You live in my neighborhood. I'll send you a PM to join our local vaping Social Group (VIP vaping in Phoenix). We'll all get you up and fogging in no time!

I usually go over 5 seconds... Way over... Average atty life is 3 weeks.

Compared to a pack of my cigs costing about $6 and an average of $8 for an atty, buying an atty every so often is still saving me $55 in those same 3 weeks. (Actually a little more as I smoked just over half a pack a day, but rounded down to half to do the math in my head.)

I buy them in larger quantities when I find a sale on them so it is even a bigger savings.

Even adding the amount of juice I go through, I'm still saving $... As long as we don't add the stuff I give away to get others switched over to PV's because that is costing me $, but pays off in ways that are more valuable.

Then you should be fine, and hitting it a bit longer won't hurt. You may be a good candidate for a battey mod unit (delivers 4.2 volt at new charge of the Li-ion batteries and a bit more vapor). I have several different models... best thing ever for vaping once you get the learning curve down on a stock model.

Sent you a PM with VIP group info. and links!
