question on hv 510

i'm an electrical ..... (among other subjects), so for a 4 year old, whats the advantage of the hv 510? do i need these?

I have not bought any but this I can tell you. Drew said that there are two with different resistance values. What this does is cause a greater voltage drop so that with two 3v batteries, you could vape at 4v with one or 5v with the other. One drops the voltage one volt and the other drops it two volts. From what I understand, it helps by not getting the atty as hot and some say it enhances the flavor.

thanks, and i'm with ya on what they do, but still confused as to why.
i guess i'm missing what the point is of using higher volts? i always thought it was more heat to the atty, but apparently i'm wrong again.
