Ohhh OK so more wraps = MORE resistance. Less wraps = less resistance.
Thicker wire = lower resistance, thinner wire = higher resistance.
And, rolling your wick thicker = better wicking.
Tighter coils = more contact with wick, better vape.

I just don't get what silver wire is used for if it holds no resistance? what do you use silver wire for?

Some people twist a piece of non resistance wire onto the resistance wire, to use as the leg that goes in between the top wrap of the coil around the wick, and the center (positive) post. This is where it's most likely to have a hot spot. The free space between the wick and the post.

What's the best way for removing the hotspot there? Unscrew the center post and bend the wick closer? That's what I do, lol, is there a better way?? Does my wick not being perfectly vertical screw with the wicking at all? That's a lot of questions, my bad!

No. I don't even want to know anything about those devices. They are too expensive for me. Are GG's only 3.7 volt devices? :)

LOL. I hear ya. I'm going broke on co-ops. It's a rebuildable that uses No Resistance wire connected to resistance wire. It needs the extra length courtesy of the NR wire in order to position the coil over a ceramic cup.
