Hey everyone, I've been building coils for the last week, experimenting with different setups etc but a few things aren't clear to me. My main goal is to make a fog machine more or less haha I just want tons of vapor (who doesnt?).

I got 34 gauge nichrome and with this wire to get 2 ohms I can only wrap twice. So would more wraps on a lower gauge wire produce more vapor, or does the amount of wraps not matter?

Also, does wick size make a difference at all (length)? I've got a 3mm wick doubled up that ends in a large loop that comes right up to the top so its a pretty long wick.

I've made a couple attempts at dual coil but cant get it right, probably just need some more practice....if anyone can answer these questions and/or provide any other tips I would appreciate it. thanks!

Yes, more wraps can give you more vapor; but too many can cause a slow reaction time. Ideal is 4-5 wraps. Get you some lower gauge. Vapor production has to do with air flow as well as the other stuff. Wick length is irrelevant until you get so much in there that it impedes air flow. The only reason to add more wick than whats in the coil and lays in the juice is to "store" more juice and drip less often.
