Hello everyone. I have only tried TFA flavors. I have wanted to do a nice tasting watermelon. I have mixed the TFA up to 15% and the flavor just taste muted. Just not getting alot of flavor on the watermelon. I have also noticed this on the Raspberry. I have tried a Raspberry Lime and a Raspberry cheesecake. I I mixed the Rasberry lime at 12% lime and 8% Rasberry. Did the same with the cheesecake. Think I mixed the cheesecake at 10% cheesecake 8% Raspberry. Is this just the nature of the beast for watermelon and raspberry?
Thanks

I tried adding a couple drops of lemon juice. That did not seem to help. I started out at 8% on the watermelon and have gradually gone up. I have let it steep also. I just figured watermelon must be one of those lighter flavors. I know the honeydew flavor is very powerful. Just wanted a good watermelon flavor though. thanks for all the info though folks

What I try to do when working with new flavors is make 5ml test batches. I make 5 sample at 5% flavor each, up to 25%. Use my ultrasonic cleaner for a few days to help steep. After a few days I sample each one, find the one that taste best and mix the remaining 4 sample and add flavoring to bring the mix up to the one I liked. That way I waste much less and have a good basis to find the right mix.
