Hey guys,

Ive seen it done one or two videos but the person glances over it- it involves when you stick your kanthal wire through the post holes of the rba - whats a good way to essentially make the wire thicker inside there so when we screw down on the post screws it adheres or has a better grip to wire inside it? Is this even important? And how hard should i tightened the screws down? As hard as i can without stripping the screws or just a firm snug fit?

I know i used up my question quota but one last one - most of videos on the rba and reo propose having the coil centered over the juice hole or centered between the posts but pulled far out so its away from the posts as much as possible- but not far out to where screwing on the cap will make contact with them.

Ive seen other videos with different rebuildables where they propose having the coil as close to the posts as possible without touching. Is that simply because they are different rbas. What are advantages/disadvantages of the length of wire that extends out from the post screws on the coil side.?

Just snug the post screws they are small and strip easily. I personally get my coil as close to the air hole as possible, longer legs will up the resistance slightly. When using a standard coil I find long coil leads get hot bit with a micro coil I don't have that issue even with really long coil legs or leads

If the RDA has an air hole in the top cap, the coil should be positioned fight in front of the hole. Some RDAs have the air enter from the bottom, usually between the screws. On those, the coil should be located in the upward air steam. There are plenty of videos made by the uniformed showing how not to do it. Look at Super X's videos here in the Reo forum for how to do a decent build.

When I insert a new coil, I barely snug one screw, position the coil where I want it, then snug up both screws. Don't crank hard but get them tight.

As it was said bring your coil out towards the airhole. When you build a micro coil you usually don't have hot legs. When you build a standard coil the legs begin to turn red and ruins the vape when it's far out like that. And on the screws just a snug fit is ok. Also when you are done messing with the coils position go back and check the screws. Sometimes the get loose after messing with the coil. Check out the micro coil thread for more detailed info
