Question on SS No.7

Hey all. Just found this forum, I just received my SS Choice No. 7 yesterday. To me it seems like I have to draw rather hard for very little vapor, and that the liquid in the cartridges doesn't last very long.

I was wondering if this was a rebrand of an already existing model and if there was an alternate atomizer or something I could order for it to make it draw easier...

If not I'm possibly looking into ordering a Level 510 kit and keeping this as a backup or such...

I'm rather new to vaping, and I'd like to find a model that will allow me to leave analog cigarettes behind permanently. The No. 7, while a bit hefty, feels enough like a cigarette that it doesn't bother me, but I don't know whether it's just me being unused to it or whether or not I got a crap brand or so, I just seem to be having a hard time getting any vapor out of the device.

Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks!

Doing some research, it actually appears that this is likely a rebrand of an RN4081. I've gotten some better vapor production by topping off a cartridge then dripping one drop or so right on the atomizer (though I get juiced from time to time...menthol juice makes your lips tingle...tastes like crap though). Still thinking about ordering a 510 as a primary and keeping this one as a backup/intro device for other people, as it seems there are more accessories for the 510 than the 4081.

Thanks for the help though!

I also got the ss choice no. 7 this month and was wondering the same thing about its original origin. I bought the his and her pack and one works great and the other is very tempermental. It is driving me crazy. Really regret not finding this forum earlier. I> am thinking we got the shaft

Honestly, it's not that bad of a device. I used it almost exclusively today in place of normal analog cigarettes. Once I got used to how much to fill a cartridge to get a few cigarettes worth of vapor out of it, it worked very well. I still plan on getting another device to use (whether it be another RN4081 or something such as a 510, since it seems to have more accessories) but the No.7 seems to work very well for me now. Two battery charges will get me through a full day without error, though I do plan on picking up either a PCC or a USB charger for while I'm at work.

I do admit that now that I found this forum, that I feel that I spent a bit too much on the starter kit (~$95 for 2 batteries, an atomizer, 1 wall charger, 5 "regular" cartridges, 10 blank cartridges, and 30ml of Menthol fluid) but I feel it is worth it if I can begin using the device exclusively.

Good luck with your No.7!

This model is entirely compatible with the NPro and SmokingEverywhere 3.0, both of which are RN4081 rebrands. This is one as well, it's confirmed.

An update: After only 4 days one of my batteries has stopped charging. It will blink the "no power" light when connected to the atomizer, but is unresponsive when connected to an AC charging unit. I'm going to try to contact the company tomorrow to obtain a replacement.

I've also gone ahead and ordered myself a 510 starter kit along with a PCC, as well as a Johnson Creek flavor sampler set. Hopefully they'll arrive soon.

I've been looking at a lot of the models listed on Vapeatron.com, but I'm still hit or miss as to exactly which model this darn thing actually is.

Once I get my new 510s, I'll likely be giving this one to a smoker friend who's extremely interested, and if the company doesn't get back to me to replace the defective battery I got, I'd like to give her a spare battery and possibly atomizer with it, but I'd like to not have to order them from ecigaretteschoice.com again. While the shipping was quick and it was packaged rather nicely, I've been having a hell of a time trying to get ahold of them to replace that battery (seems like their phone number is only manned 5-6 hours on weekdays, so I resorted to trying their "Fill in your info and if necessary we'll contact you" form).

Y'know, by random chance I was sitting here this morning staring at my No. 7 sitting on top of my keyboard at work, and I had placed the charger off to my left, and just noticed that I placed the charger upside down on the desk.

There's a label on the underside, listing model KR-208/308. Sure enough, I pulled up Vapeatron and looked for the KR208 and KR308, and it could definitely be either one of those. The only difference I can see is the 208 is 119mm long and the 308 is 110.

Lets hope this will allow us to get some spare parts!

I was wondering if you ever got a hold our lovely seller and if so how. Apparently I am being ignored right now. Just love their customer service.

No luck yet. I'm going to try to send another "contact us" message through the site, but I'm about to write off this company as one of the "Do Not Buy From" companies.

We'll see.
