I have noticed that certain cartomizers have hard plastic 2 piece tips while some of them have soft rubber 1 piece tips. I really didn't have much of a preference until I tried refilling with the condom method today and the rubber tip kept coming off in the condom. I got so frustrated that I took a hard cap of of an old spent cart and switched it. Are the hard tips going away? Should I save all of my old ones?

I also read somewhere hard caps will be comming back soon as well. Which I am glad to hear. Please be on coolcarts, please be on coolcarts.....

My reason for liking the hard caps is because of issues of the caps leaking on soft caps. Not sure why, but everytime I use a soft cap it starts to leak eventually at some point. Usually if its not at the first fill, its at the 2nd or 3rd refill. Hard caps, I almost never have issues with leaking. Plus I prefer the feeling of a hard cap better.

I have a few saved up I reuse. Hoping to be able to buy some new ones soon though.

There actually four carts in question here. The two-piece (outer hard cap and inner ring) are the old standard cartos and I believe are going away forever. Then there are two types of premium cartos...hard tops and soft tops. Then there are the coolcarts which are all soft tops.

Which ones, that are available now....will be available 6 months from now? Who knows...
