Question re charging vGo battery -- can I use a standard 808 charger?

I just got a vGo kit after using Volt and other 808 batteries. My question is whether I can use a standard (Gen 2) 808 charger for my vGo battery, since the threading is the same -- I'm referring to the USB part that threads onto the battery itself. I don't want to cook the new battery, but the 808 charger is a bit smaller and more convenient. Thanks!
