Question regarding atty in protank 2 mini

Hi,
Quick question - had protank 2 mini for a little over a month now, on its first atty. Using with itaste vv v3.
Over the month I've used it, the resistance has crept up from 2.5R to 3R now, and is starting to lose its oomph a little. I personally vape on watts, at somewhere around 7.5W. So, now the atty is up to 3R, if I use the formula Sq.rt(WxR) it appears the v3 is having to push a little over 4.75V into it to maintain the wattage, which I'm in the opinion that it may be struggling a bit as that's getting close to its max voltage.
So I'm guessing time to change the atty now?
Anyone else experienced this behaviour / or can concur what I've said?
(also dry burned about a week ago, which helped with the taste)

Yep that's as I thought then. I did think to myself when I was dismantling it to dry burn it, at a little over £1 each is it really worth messing about trying to make it last longer!
