Hello all, I'm pretty new to this forum and have a question for you all. I have been smoking my e-cigs for a few weeks now. (Janty Dura and Janty Classic) I recently cleaned my atomizer for my Dura via the boiling method suggested by other members of the forum. I blew out all the excess water and let it dry for hours. I then dropped a drop or 2 on the mesh in the atomizer itself and let it sit for some time. Since then, it seems as though the vapor that I'm inhaling from my dura is causing quite a bit of burning in my lungs, almost to the point of making me cough. I've always had a smooth draw from my dura, never felt like I was choking or about to cough. I was just curious as to if anyone has any suggestions, or possible explanations? I've tried virtually every e-juice I have in the Dura, and they all seem to be having that same burn, with a somewhat metallic taste at times. I'd appreciate any suggestions and or help anyone could offer me. THANKS! :)

Sounds like it wasn't dry enough before you fired it back up.
I don't drip dry the ATM. Water and metal don't play well together, especially in a combustion chamber.
I use my air compressor immediately after the rinse and give it a thorough drying.
I know this is not recommended :w00t: but I've never had one fail afterwards. Knock wood.

I'm one that thinks boiling the atomizer can't be a good thing. There are seals and a microchip in there that probably get damaged when boiled. I clean mine with Everclear because it dissolves the buildup without overheating/damaging the equipment. Since yours are still working, you will probably be OK. The metallic taste is probably due to the factory primer that they put on new units is gone now on your units. Just keep it wet with juice (without flooding the atomizer) and that taste will probably go away, IMO.
