So I have two places local that sell juice. One place, the place I got my vaper from has them in sealed bottles. I've only tried menthol from them. The other place they have your flavors but then can add sweetner, flavor, and even menthol to the base flavors they sell. There's are a buck cheaper then the other place but after two 10ml bottles I'm having a problem sometime that it tastes burnt. Now its possible I'm calling wrong. But my question is in regards to quality. Are there different quality's of juice? How cacan't I tell who has the better juice? I think I'm going to go back to the original place tomorrow and get a flavor to compare. Any help is appreciated.

I have been only vaping for a couple of weeks. I am just like you and have been using Menthol and tried a couple of flavors and they seem to hit my throat a bit harshly. I have been told that I should try a PG/VG mix since what I am using is 100% PG.

I have ordered a couple bottles of the 50/50 blend to try it out. I hope it help because I would like some variety.

I look forward in hearing what other say about your question.

Well, burnt taste is more likely down to the device you're using, the setting it's on, if any and the condition of the atomizer.

Put more simply, what kind of e-cig do you have and how long have you been using it?

The juice has some primary ingredients that allow it to vaporize, along with nicotine and some flavoring. Sometimes a stronger nicotine formula can lead to a "peppery" taste, but the burnt taste is usually from the e-cig itself.

Atmoizers can wear out and gunk up. Some are replaceable or "rebuildable". Some can be cleaned and "dry burned" to help remove any buildup.

The burnt taste probably has more to do with the PG/VG mix, your delivery system (carto, clearo, tank, etc) and how you vape. Not to mention what battery type your using. Are we talking a cig-a-like, an Ego style, a variable voltage, or a bigger Mod? The more details you give the more likely someone will have an answer for you.

A few reasons you may get that burnt taste though are: Drawing to long or hard on a wicked clearomizer like a stardust, a burnt cartomizer that needs replaced, or having your voltage up too high on a VV device.

Edit: Yeah what Noi_Max said, guess he types faster than me ;-p

Right but are they all created equal or can you get poorly made liquid? The burnt taste I sometimes get?

Good question, and the answer is they are Not Created Equal. And, unfortunately, the burnt taste can be from a number of things other than the juice, especially if it doesn't happen with every vape. For now, be sure to shake bottle before every use and post back if it happens again. Be sure to say if you're dripping, clearomizering, or whatever.

Oh yeah, sometimes a jc maker simply has a batch go bad for no apparent reason. Sorry I can't help you with your choice of vendors.

Google isn't being extremely helpful this evening. I found the model you gave me here:
eLeo-T - red kiwi - Marktführer für e-Zigaretten

Does that look like the one you have?

What I'm having a bugger of a time with is finding replacement parts, the atomizer being the key part.

All e-cigs are comprised of a battery (power source) and atomizer (the part that turns the juice into vapor) and some means of holding the juice. All of these things will wear out with time. How they are maintained and replaced varies widely with different models.

If the atomizer is getting worn out, it usually is build-up from the juice. Sometimes they can be cleaned, but in units like the eleo I would assume they would be simply replaced.

There are a lot of "knock-off" brands to more well known devices and this looks like one of them. Possibly a variant of a Joyetech eGo-T. If that's the case you might be able to order fittable replacement parts online, but I'm really not sure. If you check with the outfit that sold your device to you maybe they would have more info.

In short, if you're getting a burnt taste pretty regularly, the likely cause is a gunked up atomizer. It is usually replaceable and separate from the battery.

Perhaps someone else with more experience with this type of e-cig could hopefully chime in

What is dripping? And what is clearomizering? If dripping is when some of the juice seems to leak to the mouth piece and you get a mouth full of juice then yes, this happens 3 or 4 times a day. If clearomizering is when the inside top portion of the tank gets foggy then yes on occasion.

Dripping is dripping your juice straight into your atomizer, a clearomizer is a clear tube that holds juice while being wicked to heating coils, and tanks hold large amounts of juice that is being wicked to a replaceable top coil (ce4 or Vivi Nova) or a tube that pushes up through the center of a large tank. Which do you use?

But looking at that Kiwi, that is a tank system that is "pierced" by the atomizer. Try soaking your atomizer in vodka, gin, or vinegar, rinse with water, and air dry. Use a fresh atomizer while the first one dries and rotate the two atomizers. The tanks are known for stretching out at the bottom hole and leaking.

Or do you have the big pen styled one? If you have that one, I don't know! From their website they sell a few different kinds! Wow!
