I know it's going to be dependent on how much you vape and what you're comparing it to, but generally speaking, does the liquid in the carts last as long for you as a regular cart (or a cart you've filled yourself) lasts for you? And do the atomizers in them seem to last as long as regular atomizers you've used?

I'm wondering because everyone seems to be raving about cartomizers lately, but they seem really expensive comparatively, unless you refill them. But if you have to pop them open and refill them, you'd still be dealing with liquid and it would still be messy. So what's the advantage?

If I understand the question correctly, a cartomizer lasts me a bit longer than, say, a freshly filled 510 cartridge. And I can usually refill them about 8 times before they stop absorbing the juice and are just a mess. (I think some people rinse them out--not sure if that helps them to last longer or not.)

Atomizers for 510s, 901s, 801s, etc, last a lot longer, since once the wadding gets old on a cartomizer it is done, even though the atomizer is still good.

(Unless someone has come up with a way to change the wadding, in which case I would be more than happy to hear about it:))

Yes, cartomizers are more expensive than just liquid/atomizers. And I do worry that if the FDA gets its way they will be impossible to obtain. But they have their place and some of them are really good (as opposed to the first ones I ever got that were really not good.) They are convenient, and you do not have to worry when you are out that your atty will give up the ghost on you.

We are going on a trip soon, and I have a supply of cartomizers to use for my part of the driving. Can't drip and drive;)
