Im relatively new to the vaping thing, was a 20 year smoker, tried a blu disposable a little over a month ago and havent touched a cigarette since. So to start out I bought myself a starter kit from Volt and 2 variable voltage batteries. So far Ive been refilling the empty cartos for the volts with juice I got from vaporbomb, Ive been pretty satisfied. But I want to start using the VV batts so I was wondering if any of you guys that clearly know way more about these things than me can give me some advice on them.

So I have a 650 and a 900mah VV batt which is listed as having 510/eGo threading and a bunch of stardust clearos and a vision nano. Im still waiting to pick up the batts tommorrow from the post office. Anyway the threading on the batteries are on the outside and dont look like either will be able to attach without some kind of connector or adapter or something...the threads on the stardust are way up in the inside and theres like a ring that comes down over them that doesnt have any threading that looks like it will keep them from directly connecting with the battery. Am I completely wrong about this or do I need a connector piece?

Also I want to add a cone so it looks normal but the cone i have fits the nano diameter not the stardust and I dont see any online for the stardust, do they even make them or would that look silly, I dunno...any help would be awesome

Hi and welcome! eGo-type batteries (no matter if they are standard or VV) have two different threading. Internal "510," like Vivi Novas screw into and external "eGo" threads that Stardust-type clearos screw onto.

Often the Stardust-types don't appear to have threading up inside of them, but they do.

ahh, i see. So the ring is to cover the coupling with the Stardust so you dont need the cone, but with the nano the cone covers that outside threading. Got it, I should be good to go. Thanks alot man.

Yes the clearos cover the threads. If using a Vivi Nova, because it connects to the inner 510 threads, there are threads showing- easily covered up with a $3.00 sleeve that screws on to the outer eGo threads. No need for the sleeve if using clearos.
