I buy from here quite often:

One Stop DIY Shop

Although that's one vendor among many, I've never had an issue with service or quality. Also, I DIY my e-jucie by purchasing double strength to my target nic and then cutting with PG and/or VG and flavoring. So I make my 24 mg juice as follows:

1/2 container full of 48 mg 50/50 PG/VG base.
few drops of flavorings
fill remainder with PG. That gives me 24 mg flavored nic at 75% PG, 25% VG. If I wanted 18 mg result, I'd start with 36 mg base.

Although I share safety concerns with everyone, IDK if any of this is "safe". I prefer to stay with USA vendors... but that's me. Some overseas vendors are/have applied for FDA certification/partnerhsip/whatever-it-is and swear by their quality. Who knows these days.

That's exactly the way I do it. Just like you told me! Works so easy that way.

Be careful with what you purchase, especially nicotine. There's at least one Chinese site banned from here because they sell pure (99.5%) liquid nicotine. All vendors here are limited to a max of 10%. Higher levels require a lab and even experienced chemist avoid 'playing' with that stuff.

I've bought some things from China, eliquid among them. Haven't had any problems yet. Prices are good but shipping is either real slow or very expensive.

BlueMist has everything you could need for DIY. Every juice they sell you can buy the flavoring and their PG and VG are priced great. Their nic is priced well too and you have numerous options for nic strength and bottle size. They also have syringes, pipettes, different size empty bottles and all the optional stuff for DIY too. Sweetener, menthol drops, menthol crystals, Ethyl maltol, tobacco absolute, something that creates a chilling effect, etc.
While I don't think their known for they DIY stuff, their prices are really good and they have everything you could want/need to make your own juIces

I just got some 555 flavoring from health cabin I like it and will buy it again but the rest of the flavors I got from them I'd have to pass on, the next time I need nic I'll probably buy from these guys: RTS vapes Liquid Nicotine I buy my vg/pg by the gallon its cheaper that way from these guys Vegetable Glycerin USP Kosher. and ecigexpress and Natures Flavours for flavorings I haven't bought vendor juice in over 6 months. oh yeah I forgot about Good Prophets they have really good prices on PA flavorings

I have a gallon of VG that I got when P&G was giving out freebies. I've never opened it. How long do you think it's good unopened?

Easily 1 year, probably much longer, like 2-3 years.

I got PG and VG (1/2 gallon each)from one site before I saw someone had posted a similar site with twice as much for about the same price I paid.

Others get PG from Tractor Supply Co or similar farm equipment store. VG can be found at pharmacies or some Walmart stores.

Maybe I'll bring it if I go to the Phila vapefest. I'm never going to use all of that. Everyone that goes, bring an empty bottle!

Wow! They got things like that?
Certainly 'news' to me.
I'm only 15 minutes south of Philly.

Not that I really need more VG/PG.
The 1/2 gallons is probably a lifetime supply for me, even with bad concoctions.

My biggest concern is if the kind folks in the government decide they know better and ban liquid nicotine or tax it heavily.

I haven't ventured into DIY yet, but I am looking at the starter kits offered by onestopdiyshop. It has everything you need to get going.

Again, inexperienced here, but I personally am staying away from high level bases (like the 100 mg/ml offered by CCV) until I am more proficient at mixing. That stuff is dangerous. ;)

Thanks for all the suggestions, i've decided to go with onestopdiyshop since they have the DIY kits. I like how they even have the calculator software for me to use. It is more pricey than some other places, but it has the made in USA mark so i am going to give this a try.
