My first purchase was a manual 902 from Modern Vapor (not pictured below, not enough post counts T__T) and have been using it for little less then a month. I use blank carts and cut my juice 50/50 with VG. I tried using just the juice but was always left wanting more. I dont use the cotton like stuffing tht comes with the carts but instead a blue filter like material that resembles what one would use in an aquarium.

The first issue I wanna address is the cartridge. To me it seems like its always wet on the outside. I gather that its either from too much juice or from the VG being burned. I dunno, the cart description claims that its cart can hold 25 drops but I always stop around 12-14. Im constantly having to pull it apart and wipe it down while vaping. Could it be from the cart material possibly?

Another question is why is my cart burning up??? If you look at the picture below you can see how the cart is being burnt at the end.
(Sorry, again not enough post counts for a picture and would hate to spam the forum just to have my question answered)
I hate to think Im inhaling this burnt plastic!!! Is this normal? Am I vaping too much? Has anyone had this happen to them before? If so is there a way to remedy it?
I tried trimming the cart back a lil but it still melted.

Thanks for any help!!!

Hi, Stevan!
I also own a 902 from MV. I do not find that the cartridges hold any more than 12 to 14 drops, period. (Of course, drop size can vary a lot.) The wetness on the outside of the cart is condensation, I think. Even after you quit your draw, the atty stays warm long enough to evaporate, but perhaps not quite vaporize, some of the eliquid. The moisture is not problematic, as far as I know, unless it causes the atomizer to flood.

I never tried blue foam on my 902 carts, though I do use it on my 510s. So, I'm not sure what difference there would be on the 902. However, I do find that blue foam can release eliquid to the atty faster, and therefore in some instances may flood the atty more often.

As to the cart being burnt on the end...hm. I never had that happen with my 902. How long of a draw are you taking? How often do you draw on your ecig? How warm does the atty feel to the touch after you take a few draws? Are you sure that the atty is staying wet and that the cart hasn't gone completely dry? A burned end on the cart really suggests to me either that the atty is going almost dry - and the cart too - or that your draw is fairly long, and the atty is staying too hot before the cart can wick more juice to it.

Other than that, I really don't know.

Anyway, good luck on resolving your problem.
