Questions about the proposed NY ban.

After reading Bill A01468, I haven't found any mention of making the receiving orders from out of state illegal (as in having cartons of analogs shipped from an online retailer). The latest news articles don't mention out of state purchases, either. As a NYCer, I'm anxious about the impending legislation. Is there a threat to those of us who order from out of state, or are we safe (for now) even if the ban does go into effect?

I would imagine you would be safe if you ordered out of state.

I have calls in to both my state senator and assemblyman for a sit down face to face meeting. If I have to sit in their offices for a day I will. I will harrass them until they agree to meet with me in person. I will inform them that no matter what they do, I will continue using my PV. At least I know I will have tried to do something. I recommend you do the same. This is only proposed legislation, it can still be voted down.

I read it and I sounds as if only local sales are included. To be honest I can't imagine how they could limit out-of-state purchases and mailings.
