questions for a taifun lite

got my taifuns working nice ..except one problem ...wet feet !
it leaks from the bottom connecter . there must be a way to get rid of the spring and plug that thing permanently .
if the spring carrys current may be a piece of brass tubing ?

try 2 orings and you should get no leaks works for me

I could not find any o rings to fit ....so what I am trying is .. I took a small amount of mold making silicone putty and packed it around the screw which is barely started tomorrow when it hardens I will see how it seals
