Putting it back on is a breeze; just tilt it a bit, push it in, and it'll slide right on. ;)

It's not glued or welded on, it's completely removable and as such, I make a habit of cleaning it separately. I remove it so I can put the top wick back on, so...either way, it's coming off.

Yeah, it's an awfully small bit, so you have to take care not to loose it. If you clean it under tap water, close the drain, 'cause it'll wash right out.

That's why I keep my old coils, not only will I try to rebuild one at some point, but if you do say lose that little cap down the sink,(I lost the little rubber thing on top down the sink once) you will have an extra one.

If the wicks aren't in terrible shape, keep those too in case you have one unravel on you(that happened to me as well). I just keep everything just in case something happens and I need something.

It's just in my nature, I like to fix things and make things with what I have on hand instead of buying it.

I made tanklets for my daughter and myself with a couple heart charms I had and put little seed beads on it as well.

Saved us each $10-$15(that's what I've seen them going for online, some are even more than that.)

Ok, I'm weird I know.

It's ok to pull it, but...

Make sure that the coil doesn't end up touching the side of the coil assembly, or it'll short.

Also, if all you want to do is get the dirtiest bit of wick out from the coil, you can twist the wick, while it's dry. It's tricky at first, but you get the hang of it.

That's the kind of thing I was afraid of. Oh I never thought of twisting it. That's a good tip.

ETA: How do you play the Halo 12 day Giveaway Game?

Easy. Go to the thread, the first post is edited to give a link to the starting point.
For instance, the day 5 started at post #4497. Cinder Ella makes the post, announces the prize and the target post number. That contest was post #5555. Whoever posts that post number wins.
So we post, trying to be funny and witty, and build up the posts. We had like 1,058 posts to make! It goes along, (F5 refreshes your screen). You keep going to the last post, then you post. When it get's close, like at post# 5500, people post like mad. post 5555 won!

You cant make 2 consecutive posts. If you made 5554 and 5555, you don't win, the next post wins. Previous winners (like me day 1) can't win again, but we play to get the post count up. In fact, I posted the winner for day4, post 4444, but since I had won, the next post, 4445 wins.

No skill required (obviously), it's a riot, cause we have some real comedians!!

Just go to a part of the thread, read a few pages, and you'll get it quick.

Day 6 will probably start sometime after 9AM est, but might start as late as noon est.

See you there.

We are Halon.

FOR SCIENCE!

As to the VooDoo.. I was like you at first Zombo, wasn't sure if it was my "tank of Vape" but after letting it steep a bit, I really began to like it... its really great on a VV, since you can get different flavors depending on the voltage too...

Give it a bit and try it again, you might get lured in by it!

It might be arriving tomorrow, but I should probably let it steep for a few days.

Some like it FOOB (ME!) or steeped awhile (ME!) but either way, def shake the bottle real good prior to loading a tank. I found a fresh bottle set at a lower VV (Jefsview trick) you get kind of a cocoa flavor. Then steeped a little and higher volts, the plum, grapes and black currant pops more. Then more steep and even higher volts, the cinnamon pops more.

For me, I usual can taste cinnamon instantly in juices, w/Voodoo, it plays tricks. And it seems, at least to me, to change up a lot. Like a chameleon. It's weird, mysterious and I love it.

Hey chesty. You vaping the VooDoo now? LOL
You know that tribeca I was vaping diva? I was reading posts, vaping, and started to get annoyed with the flavour and the TH, it was tasting a little hot and burnt. i kept on absent mindlessly vaping away, get more and more annoyed as the flavour became more and more burnt. I finally looked at the tank, and it was bone dry. sheesh. talk about desert flavour.

I'm on to the voodoo now.

wishing everyone full tanks.

No, I drop everything separately in the glass (except I keep the wicks in their place, albeit pulled out a little to expose the part that had most of the gunk on it). Although, I usually only leave it in there for a couple of hours, but the instructions for the DC states you can leave it over night. That hasn't really been necessary for me since I usually clean my tanks every 4-5 days. I suppose if you went longer in between cleanings, then over-night soaking might be preferable.

Whoah.... so you even put the empty tank soaking in the Polident glass container? Just worried about the plastic tank getting abused.
