I personally have never heard of e samples and tried doing a google for it and still could not find it. Maybe you should post a link? I get a strange feeling since I've never heard of it, that it might not be so great. Sorry. lol. There's a ton of great and well known vendors, and then there are a ton of fly by night vendors so I would be careful. Then again, maybe I'm wrong and others have heard of them. We shall see what responses you get.

Hi and Welcome to the ECFs :toast:

1. Has anyone ordered from e samples?
If you are referring to E-Liquid Samples - Cheap 1mL samples of boutique e-juice - yes I have
2. What did you think of the ones you ordered?
I liked many of what I ordered, and since they are teeny tiny bottles it was minimal harm done if I didnt like one.
3. What is the best e-cig to buy? I am on a budget but want an upgrade from the one I have.
Depends on what your budget is and what is important to you. (VV/VW, Box or tube, internal or replaceable batteries etc - with tidbits on what you want from it we can guide you better :) )
4. Where is a good place to buy one?
Depends on which one :)
5.What flavor do you like best when you vape?
My PERSONAL taste makes Deadly Sin from GLV my ADV. Taste is personal and VERY subjective.
6. How long did it take you to stop smoking once you made the switch?
About a month.
7.. Any tips to help me quit smoking?
Look at every cig you dont smoke as a victory. Do not get discouraged some days are easier and better than others. Always have backups, and backups for those backups and definitely backups for your backups backups! Also - stay hydrated!

Welcome to ECF! and congratulations on your decision to start vaping.

This is a little much to address on one thread. If I were you, I would break some of your questions down into separate ones. And it would be a good idea to give a little info about your preferences... like: do you like a cigalike form factor or a bigger setup? What tastes do you like? Fruits, desserts, tabaccos, nuts, etc. How much can your budget handle? How much do you smoke and have there been pitfalls to quitting before? Tips would address those particular areas. See what I mean? Just trying to help.

As far as quitting; I quit the day I bought my PV. It's been 5 days since I quit and I haven't given in. My advice would be to get a tank to fill with high nicotine liquid for the times you really want a cigarette. Like for me it's right when I wake up but the urge subsides after I vape for a while.

1. Has anyone ordered from e samples?
No, sorry, I haven't.

2. What did you think of the ones you ordered?
N.A.

3. What is the best e-cig to buy? I am on a budget but want an upgrade from the one I have.
What do you have? There's a myriad of options out there, what is your budget, what style fits your lifestyle?

4. Where is a good place to buy one?
Online has better prices, but a local brick and mortar store near you is good for emergencies, trying things in person, and trying juices. Post your location (city is fine), there may be others here who can steer you towards a good store.

5.What flavor do you like best when you vape?
Right now, Strawberries and Cream by Tasty Vapor.

6. How long did it take you to stop smoking once you made the switch?
About an hour. No, seriously, I stopped smoking right away, and haven't looked back. From the first drag on the cheap clearomizer I bought (and replaced two days later) I knew my smoking days were over.

7.. Any tips to help me quit smoking?
Get a good set up, even if it's more than you want to spend, find some good quality juice you like, buy a lot of it, and vape as much as you need to keep off cigarettes. HAVE BACKUPS. Get rid of your cigarettes, lighters, ashtrays, give your house and clothes a good cleaning to get rid of the smell, and vape, vape, vape, and vape some more!

Welcome to ECF and congrats on taking the first step in quitting smoking. Like you, I had many questions when I first started. I would suggest looking over my initial thread as many have found it to be extremely helpful. Everyone's experiences and opinions are different but, I was able to immediately quit smoking as soon as I started vaping and have not looked back. You will be successful and we are all here to support you. Good luck!

Oh, glad to see it's E-Liquid Samples. I've heard of them but haven't tried them so I'm glad CreepyLady could help you. And as others said, different ecigs provide different things and everyone likes different. Some prefer long battery life regardless of size, some just want small and cutesy looking devices and don't mind if the batteries don't last long, etc. I quit my 30 year smoking habit on the second day of vaping. I haven't smoked for 2 1/2 years, which is a total miracle because I never thought I would quit. I think what helped me the most is not telling myself I would NEVER have a cig again because that freaked me out. I was lucky that when I started vaping, I preferred it more than cigs and it was an easy replacement for me. I admit that the mental stuff kicked in some after about a week and I tried a few puffs off a cig but by then I couldn't stand them because I was used to my good clean vapes by then. There's alot of mental and psychological stuff that takes a little while to completely get rid of. It's not just about overcoming the habit or replacing your nicotine addiction. There's seriously alot of other chemicals in real cigs that takes a little while to get out of your system, plus your taste buds eventually start to heal and taste things differently. You may find you love a certain flavor eliquid at first, and then later your tastebuds change and you prefer something completely different. All this is normal. I would recommend you don't stress yourself out in saying you will NEVER smoke again. Instead tell yourself you are going to try today to not have a cig. If you screw up, dust yourself off and the next day start over again. You will be surprised how over time you will get to where you won't even think about it anymore. There is hope! :)
