HAHA gotta love that 176 people came in here and 15 of them replied. WOW. Even after I told people not to do that. Why do they even do that?
Could be they had nothing to add to what other people have already said.
Come in and leave without even reading.
I'm sure you meant "without replying". Maybe they read your post because they had the same questions you had.
I left a pretty detailed title..so what do they expect to find and just leave..ah it just bothers me that it happens on every thread I create..asking for help and not receiving it from the hundreds of people that dont do anything to help.
Maybe they didn't have the answer, or maybe they saw that the question had already been answered. Not to be unkind, but did you really want 176 people telling you the same thing?
but to the very few that stuck around and read my post, I am very grateful for that. It means alot to me that out of the 176 people that came in, you 15 have been generous enough to grace me with your knowledge. & for that I thank you again.
Well just so I can be one of the good guys I'll answer part of your questions. Use AW IMR batterys, 18449/18500/18650 in the provari. The bigger battery gives you longer run times. You can use any atty/carto you like though the provari will shut itself down if you try to go above 2 amps (someone correct me if I got that wrong, don't have the specs in front of me).Why do people read and not reply? They may not know, they may not have time, they may feel redunancy is the hobgoblin of little minds (with apologies to Emerson), or they may just not like the attitude of the person asking.
All of you have provided very detailed and knowledgeable answers. I will look into the vari a little more and decide if its right for me. Lata!
Piece owt.

the 2 guys who responded about my thoughts on the amount of people that visited and the amount of replies I got.
I understand that many people might have the same questions as me. They might also just be curious as to what I might ask and the answers that lie ahead. However, there was already 68 views before I got ANY response. 68 people didn't know any of the answers that I asked? I've asked quite a few. I'm just saying that I think that people are more curious than helpful. They would rather not type and just peek around and see what's new. That is my bug with it all. Of course I may be wrong, but 68 people decided to leave without saying a word. I know for a fact that not all 68 of them didn't know a single answer. It's more likely that they didnt feel like typing since maybe it was a boring subject. Or they felt that they didnt want to waste time helping someone out. Just dropped in to see whats good. They should have a thingy. Where if you drop into a thread (x) consecutive times, you have to reply and you have to make it count. Whereas spams or nonsense would relate to a problem. haha just my 2 cents to help stop the...lets say flooding. Yes, flooding. haha who knows. I just know that 68 people could not all have not known a single answer or were all stumped about the same thing. peaceasys. <@>

The thing about this place is, it get a lot of traffic. Many of us try and respond to any threads we come across that we can help with or have a response to, but the fact is this place is so busy that by the time we formulate a response to one thread there are two dozen new ones and four thread replies waiting in our notifications. So sometimes if we've already been typing a lot we might be looking to see if there's something we can answer quickly or more fully than has already been covered. Or sometimes things come up and we don't have a lot of time to post the kind of response the thread deserves so we hold off 'till we have more time and so long as it's still relevant. Sometimes the questions are only really answerable by a certain set of people (in this case, per the title, ProVari owners) and you won't get responses until a ProVari owner or two comes across it. Other views may just be people seeing if there are any answers to questions they themselves have.

This is an awesome place to get answers, but sometimes questions can get lost in the busy shuffle, unfortunately. I only just saw this thread now myself (but then I only just got to work to do so). It can be a little frustrating at times but have patience and if necessary bump your thread if it isn't answered in a day or so. It'll ping on somebody's radar at some point. :)
