My new 5v mod .. the first multi-battery mod I have had .. uses 2 14250 protected batteries. After vaping a few hours, suddenly it quits vaping entirely. Pulled the batts and checked voltage. One at about 3.4v, the other says ZERO volts.
I assume that one batt reached it's lower limit (3.2v I believe) and turned off. I put it on the charger and charger gave me a charging light. So I put the other on charger as well, gonna give both a good charge.
My question: was it the batt protection circuit that shut down the mod? If so, that's a good thing!
