So I realized while faffing about working on building a custom box for a variable voltage juice feeder that I had enough random bits and pieces lying around to knock together a basic 5v mod to give me something to vape in the meantime.
Fortunately you can't really see the god awful soldering job, I haven't soldered a thing in about 10 years since I stopped volt modding motherboards. It's putting out a steady 4.9v loaded though and it made a world of difference to these cartos that were pretty craptacular on my eGo, and I've been tooting away on it like a madman for 24 hours or so without any trace of a leak.
Not quite the extravagant variable voltage/juice feeding/kitchen sink mod I'm supposed to be working on, but as my first mod it'll do me nicely in the meantime.
