Having a job that requires quite a bit of travel I found that I needed to be able to secure my mod in the car while driving. So I wanted to share this with you guys/gals. So I started with a wool sock... 20140217_091313.jpg

Then you start rolling it up into a doughnut shape just like this... 20140217_091332.jpg

You should end up with something like this... 20140217_091420.jpg

And this is how it looks/works inside the car Mod holder - YouTube

It helped me out, hopefully you can find it useful.

Tubular swimming foam thingies work great as well.

There are pics on ECF. Sorry don't have links.

I believe the technical term for that device is "pool noodle". At least that's what we call them here.

This is a damn fine idea. Now the challenge falls to finding one for box mods like the Duke, MVP2, or Hana Modz. I've had a similar mind for some time to cut out some high-density foam (the type used to package heavy electronics) into the appropriate shape for the mod to sit in. Now the trick is finding a place that sells the right foam material. AC Moore was a strikeout.
