Quick Atomizer Question

Ok, so I just got back from a weekend camping with Prodigy...

I switched back to an 801 atty I had been using a ton before I left and had been vaping great as of last use. Blew it out just in case and screwed it on and... nothing... no sizzle no nothing.

Tried putting two other attys on and worked fine.

So I pulled out the old multimeter and all attomizers are in a good 4ish ohm rating.

Any ideas on what I could do to troubleshoot this atty that isn't playing fair?

clean connections and threads if you haven't already. Did you try it on the prodigy before? If you haven't then it might the the center post issue discussed in the troubleshooting forum.

Yes, it was used exclusively on the Prodigy. It was one of the atomizers I received with it.

I use q-tips to get rid of the liquid that may be hanging around on your threads and connections. If you see something caked up on anything trying wiping with a paper towel. Lastly, if you think there still might be some build up preventing your atomizer from working, and you have removed all visible debris/liquid, use a pencil eraser (did a lot of work on radio's in my day). With the pencil eraser, just be sure you remove any debris left behind by the eraser.

I already use q-tips and papertowls to clean the threads and inside of the atty before the bridge... so I'm not thinking it's a connection issue.

I'm just confused as to why I'm still hitting a reading with my multimeter but on the Prodigy it straight up produces nothing. Weird... I'll keep trying things out since I'm pretty positive it's not dead.

I don't have another 801 battery to try it out on though so that doesn't help.

Another thing you could try is adjusting your center post. If it was connecting before, the post may have gotten knocked one way or the other in a manner that doesn't let it connect to the atty that you are trying to use. You can find these instructions in the troubleshooting thread if you want to try it out.

The thing is... it works perfectly with the other two adapters which are the exact same style/brand that I also received from PS.

It may be that the 801 atomizer not working on the Prodigy has it's center conductor in a little bit so it is not making proper contact with the power source. Try the Staple Mod in the modders sub-forum to help diagnose the problem. You will be able to confirm that the atomizer is are dead or alive.
