When Li batteries say they are good for xxx recharges it generally means that the battery will hold 80% of what it held when new after xxx cycles from full to empty and back to full. If you charge your batteries before they get empty it does not count as a full charge and you can do that more times. For example, if you charge the battery when it is half full/empty you can charge it about 2 times xxx. Less a little bit just because.

This is only true for Lithium chemistry batteries. Old Nickel Cadmium batteries used to "remember" where you charged them and if you recharged when half way down they eventually would only charge half way.

One of the plusses for Lithium is that they do not have the memory effect.

Thanks from another pa guy thats what i was thinking about was the memory thought i had heard that about battery's gues it only applys to old chem battery's thanks again
