Hey all....
Ive just got a few quick questions to ask while im at work... Did a quick search but dont have alot of time so forgive me.
I just got.my Ego T from Cignot.com today and noticed a few things.
1) when I plugged my first battery in to charge, the light was red but would flicker to green about every 5 seconds... Is this normal? Also, does it matter if I leave the battery in "off" mode while it charges?
2) I ordered some juice from them as well just tio get me started... But not one of the bottles came with any sort of safety seal on them. Is this normal? Is it common among e liquid suppliers? I would prefer some sort of tamper seal. Are there any suppliers that do offer this?
3) another battery question... Should I run them dead before charging or charge them straight away?

Thabnks for the help! Im itching to start vaping this thing bad but the juice bottle issue has me worried to be honest.

1 - The light flickering to green while charging is normal and probably means the battery is close to being all the way charged.
2 - I don't know of any juice distributors that send their products sealed. Whatever could be done with an unsealed juice could be done before they seal it up, so don't worry about it.
3 - Charging the battery in on or off makes no difference.
4 - Charge the battery when the performance starts to drop, but it really doesn't matter.

The blink is the charger automatically testing the charge level on the battery. When the battery level is high enough, the charger shuts off and the light remains green.
I find that the battery switches itself to "on" mode when I put it on the charger.

Tamper seals are one of those FDA safety mandates -- a response to contaminated Tylenols many years back. (Mostly it was so the manufacturer couldn't claim it happened after it left the factory.)
Right now, flavored e/juice mixing is a DIY and cottage industry. It's not like there's a big factory with uniformed FDA inspectors. ;)
So, yes, not having those PITA stick-on foil seals is normal.

I use this forum to make sure the supplier is "reliable", and then I don't worry about it.
I figure the user community provides as good a watchdog as a government bureaucracy.
And without all the expensive FDA "user fees" driving up prices.

... But then, I also prefer open-source software, too. :D (Posted from a Linux O/S.)

Deep discharging a battery was an old NiCad thing. I've heard varying opinions on whether it's useful on Lithium batteries.
Since an eGo battery lasts me all day, I just use one for 24 hours, then recharge it.
I've used a 1000mAh for two days straight, and still didn't run out of power, so draining it might be a bit of a chore. ;)
