What coils were you looking for, for sub ohm tanks? I bought many boxes of various ones for the guys I was helping to stock up, and 1 of them is no longer planning on vaping longterm. I may have some of what you were looking for, if you're still going to get some sub-ohm tanks. I'm not really trying to sell the extras I have but...if someone really needs them...I'd possibly part with them. If I don't have the ones you were looking for, I may be able to find some for you in the US.

Sorry I missed your post. I use eleaf hw n on hwm stock coils. got a supply for a while, just corncered supplies will dry up in future who knows with pact act and looming pmta. thats why getting some rta's.
Very confused on wire to buy on spools so can wrap simple builds myself. Have struck out 3 times ordering wire now, way too skinny etc. I do not undertand the terminology. I know higher gauge number the bigger the wire ordered Ud 30 guage triple twisted spool got it in, super thin.
I read posts of people using premade or possible wraped themselves
Would say like
3* 28 + 40 ni fused claptons or
Aliens etc. Not sure don't seem to find numbers silimar but maybe I'm not searching correctly

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you have been buying wire and buying the wrong size very time, you need to learn more about rebuilding. Without information on what you are trying to build, no one can really help. You need to fool around with/study this coil calculator and learn the basics before you proceed further. Search youtube on RTA coil building and such.

    Thanks brotherbob, will do

Very few of us will unlikely see your appreciation reply above because we do not get any followup notifications as you have posted. You can click "like" (the thumbs up) icon, or other icons, at bottom right hand corner (of this post thumbs up symbol) ditto for each reply. This action will notify the poster(s) of your chosen noted response.
Using the "like" or other icon only sometimes works, but not always. To assure someone gets notification, either quote their post like I just did, or put the @ in front of their name (no space @username)

Yes I need to. Steam engine too complicated. Will have study it more
Have a kylin mini v2 single coil rta coming. Basically looking for something can wrap and be like. 2 to. 5 ohm
For dual coil rta coming guess douple that resistance. Just going off my sub ohm tank stock coils. They are about. 22 ohm rated at 40-60w but I vape them at 25 w, prefer cooler vape.
Got lot to learn for sure, good thing wire pretty cheap. Will look on forum and see if there is a coil building sub forum.

Will do, forgive me I don't know the ins and outs of posting, only started this week. I will try and learn. Appreciate your tips

Another tip. If you want to quote someone and respond, hit the Quote button, then Quote this message (in the reply box), and then write your reply under the quoted message in the same reply box. If you quote someone in one post and then reply in another, it can get confusing, especially when someone else posts in-between. :)

This doesn't work always, unfortunately. I'd say it works ~75% of the time. I've been tagged several times and never got an alert. I've also tagged other members and they never got my tag...

I am sure you have some pms to explain but basically you have it backwards. Higher the number/gauge the thinner the wire. Plain round wire is the easiest to gauge/predict the thickness/resistance. If you want a firmer, lower ohms coil you would go lower in gauge (24, 25, 26). 30 will be thin but faster ramp up time and lower battery use (higher ohms).
Complicated wires like claptons are a bit harder to predict the ohms. It also depends on the number or wraps and diameter.
If you just want some basics to play with I would start with kanthal 24-28. I doubt that this mail ban will affect wire as much as all of the other things we use.
Read the math/calculator and watch some building/coiling videos and it will make more sense.
You say you want a cooler vape so that is the target IMO. IMO that mean not heavy wires or high power. Less mass on the coil as it takes more power to push heavy mass coils. They also take longer to cool down.
You will find you happy place but it takes some experimenting and learning.

Makes sense. I do like the way I've seen Daniel on utube wrap a simple round wire.
Yes you are right don't think wire going anywhere so I'll play with the wire i have that you mentioned.
Not sure what pms is thatyou mentioned

I have a girlfriend and a quasi evil Cruella de Vil mother in law so i sympathize with the ''being ignored'' part ;)

Kudos @Royj on the choice of avatar,Young Frankenstein? A classic.

Vaping wise just remember not to stress out, just be patient and you will be a pro in no time.
People here as you can see are really helpful so whatever you need there were always will be someone to answer any question you may have.

Just keep at it and don't go back to the dark side ;)
