Since I am on the verge of attempting my first vivi rebuild, I guess it's high time I got myself a meter. What qualities do I need to look for in an all around vaping meter? Keep in mind I have no electrical knowledge, so dumb it down please.
While I have a multimeter that I use for testing batteries, etc., I find this gizmo to be extremely handy and easy to use for testing my rebuilds of my atomizers:
You will find that the -$10 multi meters at Wallies or Harbor Freight more than sufficient for our purposes.
However, there are plenty of relatively inexpensive APV's with fairly good ohm meters in them with short ckt protection that sure make it easy to check new coils in RBA's. (and a guy is always in need of a good excuse to pick up another PV)
harbor frieght little red one with backlighting works pretty good and really accurate for the cost, I've compared it to better ones testing against each other and we very close
