Recently, began using a stainless steel tube for an AeroTank. This system is a closed one. That means a person does not see the juice in the chamber. A person quickly learns, despite an inability to view the juice, how to comprehend when a tank is nearing empty.

:glug:8-o:ohmy::grr::(

My gosh! A person begins to suck juice in a real terrible way. The wick becomes as evil as Linda Blair. *cues the dramatic "Dun duh dun duh ..." music* Argh! Tank Puke! *makes unmistakable face that says his buddy's name is Raaaaalph*

From my limited understanding of it, the wick gets depressurized. This means it will draw up any juice and act as a sponge pump. The juice goes right on up the chimney then.

Was out with father-in-law when this happened. I had inadvertenly also put the base unit back on a little too tight. He saw my face.

"What's the matter, your box dying on you?"

"Something is wonky. Not sure what, battery has power to spare. Pass me a cowboy killer."

Back home, was able to sort it out. Learned a real good lesson from it. Start drinking your juice out of a solid tank? Refill the darn thing as it is going empty. :laugh::facepalm:

"cowboy killer" :p

live and learn.
Welcome! Glad you're gonna live Cowboy :p:vapor:

*chuckles* Yes'm this old doggy living still. Got himself squared up on some fresh ARO tanks, batch of
heads, Hawk Sauce. May consider unflavored juice at 18% nicotine simply to avoid the menthol flavoring
speeding up entropy of the epoxy used to seal the Aro tank Pyrex. It does not crack a tank in the sense
of cracking a tank, rather it erodes the glue bonding the glass and metal.

"Hey SmokTech! Way to improve the near perfect ARO tank? Make it so ya can strip it down, replace o-ring gaskets inside, maybe even make them nitrate based gaskets. Thanks for hearing, yo. Out." :) :vapor:

It's windy, USA

It's vacuum pressure, an imbalance between the internal pressure of the tank and outer air that happens while you're sucking -- it's part of how these types of tanks work. :) The air in the tank has less pressure compared to your room after you've used it for a bit.

Once the eliquid starts going below 1/3 - 1/4th of the tank, it can stop working, causing the eliquid to get pushed into the coil and then the tube when you're doing a draw.

If you aren't at a place to refill and it starts to get a little gurgly, the easiest thing you can do is unscrew the bottom for a moment which breaks the seal and equalizes the pressure, and then how you finish off the tank will depend on the strength of your draw.
