Okay, so I vape unflavored nic base. I can mix mine no problem. Which is 100% VG 6mg nicotine.

Well my dad likes unflavored as well. The lady that gave my dad a setup included some 18mg unflavored 40pg/60vg for him and this bottle of 50/50 0mg to dilute if necessary, but it wasn't at the time. Now he wants to go down to about 15mg.

I have a mixture of pg/vg 50/50 and 0mg.
The bottle of 50/50 I have is in a 6oz (177ml) bottle.

If I was to mix my nicotine in it. 100%vg base 100mg/ml, what would it roughly put it up to in pg/vg ratio? He has 40pg/60vg right now and he loves it.

From what I understand with his mixture, I have a 120ml bottle laying around I haven't used. If I make a 120ml, I would need 18ml nicotine and 102ml of this pg/vg mix I already have to equal to 15mg. Does that sound accurate? Mine has always been easy to make since I just mix 240ml of my mixture for myself. I never had to include pg and worry about a specific pg/vg ratio.

Thanks for everyone's help and I hope I made sense during this.

To make a 30ml bottle of 40PG/60VG 15mg unflavored you would need

4.5ml of 100mg VG NIC
12ml if PG
13.5ml of VG

Hope this answers your question

Yes sir and thank you. The reason why I was trying to use the bottle of 50/50 I already have is because I don't have any PG by itself because I don't like it in my own unflavored. Was trying to avoid buying PG at the moment.

Yes, that sounds right.

18ml * 100mg/ml = 1800mg of nicotine.
1800mg / 120 ml = 15mg/ml concentration in the filled bottle.
120ml - 18ml = 102ml remaining to be added.

Now, you'll have 18ml of VG, plus 102ml of 50/50 PG/VG. That's 51mg VG and 51mg PG. Which leaves you with:
18mg + 51mg = 69mg VG and 51mg PG.
69 / 120 = .575 or 57.5% VG
51 / 120 = .425 or 42.5% PG
(Check: 42.5 + 57.5 = 100%? Yes, it does, so we're still on the right track.)

So, what you'd be left with is a 120ml bottle of 42.5% PG/57.5% VG at 15mg/ml. And 75ml leftover of the 0mg 50/50.

Thank you bwh79, that's close enough to the ratio I'm trying to achieve. I really appreciate the break down in numbers you provided. It helped a lot.
